What you will do:
- Deliver efficient dispensary operations, ensuring dispensing losses are minimised.
- Handle and dispense all medicines accurately, including NHS and private prescriptions.
- Comply with legal, professional requirements, and company standard operating procedures.
- Assist in the delivery of various pharmacy services, as appropriate.
- Ensure customers and patients receive safe, accurate advice on medicines, including over-the-counter options.
- Manage all aspects of dispensing, including ordering, labelling, and endorsing with appropriate claims.
Essential requirements:
- Must have completed NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services / Dispensing Assistant qualifications through a GPhC accredited route.
- Experience working in a community pharmacy, ideally with proficiency in using Pharmacy Manager software.
- Must possess an NHS Smartcard.
