Job Title: Nightshift Manager / Construction Agent
Location: Heathrow Airport
Contract: 12 Months
Hours: 50 Hours per Week (Nightshift)

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly capable Nightshift Manager to lead the safe and efficient delivery of construction and logistics activities at Heathrow Airport. As the Nightshift Manager, you will operate in a LIVE airport environment, managing complex work packages while maintaining exceptional safety, quality and operational performance. This role suits a proactive, organised and commercially aware Nightshift Manager who thrives under pressure and in high-risk environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the lead Nightshift Manager, organising and managing nightshift teams to deliver works safely and efficiently.

• Champion Safety, Sustainability, Health and Environmental excellence across all nightshift activities.

• Oversee delivery within a live airport environment, ensuring smooth coordination as the Nightshift Manager.

• Manage large-scale logistics movements essential for nightshift operations.

• Integrate civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation work packages as a hands-on Nightshift Manager.

• Chair subcontractor coordination meetings to ensure effective communication and alignment.

• Manage both short- and long-term schedules, maintaining project momentum as the Nightshift Manager.

• Drive quality, best practice, continuous improvement and performance enhancement.

• Ensure commercial awareness, adding value while reducing risk.

• Uphold consistent professionalism, customer focus and high personal integrity.

Skills & Experience Required

• Must have previous Airport experince this is an ESSENTIAL. 

• Proven experience as a Nightshift Manager or in nightshift leadership roles.

• Experience delivering works in a LIVE operational environment; airport experience highly advantageous.

• Strong engineering and construction understanding across civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation disciplines.

• Experience managing large logistics operations.

• Knowledge of NEC contracts and construction contract law (training advantageous).

• Experience integrating and delivering complex multidisciplinary work packages.

• Excellent organisational and workload-management skills.

• Strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

• Customer-focused approach with a drive to exceed expectations.
