Maths Teacher – The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students to develop confidence and success in mathematics.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Teaching Key Stage 5 Mathematics where appropriate and experience allows

• Monitoring, assessing, and tracking student progress

• Creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment

• Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their potential

• Contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives

• Participating fully in the wider life of the school

Maths Teacher – Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently completing teacher training

• A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics education

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• A commitment to raising achievement and supporting student success

• The ability to contribute positively to a collaborative department and school culture

• ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply

• Applicants must currently reside in Kent or be willing to relocate to Kent prior to commencing employment
