Care Home Manager in Cannock, West Midlands

Are you a compassionate and experienced CQC Registered Nursing Home Manager looking for a fantastic opportunity? Our client, an independent care home in Cannock, is looking for a dedicated leader to join their amazing, close-knit team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working closely with both residents and staff and holds a current NMC registration with an active PIN. You will be joining a welcoming, homely environment where your leadership and passion for care can make a real difference every day.

As a Nursing Home Manager your duties will include:

• Ensuring every resident receives the highest standards of care, comfort, and safety.
• Keeping the home fully compliant with CQC regulations and other relevant legislation, so inspections are always positive.
• Leading and inspiring a friendly, multi-disciplinary team, encouraging collaboration, development, and ongoing improvement.
• Building strong, trusting relationships with residents, their families, staff, and partners to create a truly caring environment.
• Helping manage budgets, resources, and planning to support the home’s ongoing success and future goals.

Skills and experience essential to the role of Nursing Home Manager:

• A current NMC registration with an active PIN.
• Proven experience leading a nursing home or similar care setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build a positive, motivated team.
• Strong clinical knowledge and confidence in making evidence-based decisions.
• Experience managing budgets, resources, and contributing to the home’s overall strategy and growth

This role is based in the Cannock area easily commutable from Wolverhampton, Stafford, Lichfield, Rugeley and the wider West Midlands area.
