What you will do:
- Conduct all Blood Transfusion testing, including using Ortho Visions, crossmatching of red cells, and issuing blood components and products.
- Effectively manage and operate the Winpath Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Implement Blood 360 vein-to-vein tracking methods to ensure comprehensive test monitoring.
- Adhere to and maintain compliance with Quality Management Systems, UKAS, and BSQR standards.
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding patient care and improve service delivery.

Requirements:
- HCPC registration and a relevant qualification in biomedical science or an equivalent qualification.
- Significant post-qualifying experience within the field of biomedical science.
- Proficiency in all Blood Transfusion testing and relevant biomedical science applications.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally as needed for the role.
