Are you an experienced Band 6 or 7 Mental Health Occupational Therapist seeking a rewarding part-time opportunity? This ongoing locum role in Derby offers competitive rates of £30–£35 per hour and the flexibility of working just two days per week. You will join a supportive high-support inpatient rehabilitation service for men, currently operating at 15 out of 22 beds, providing both autonomy and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in mental health care.

What You Will Do

Provide high-quality, patient-centred occupational therapy within a supportive mental health environment.

Supervise and mentor an Occupational Therapy apprentice, supporting their professional development.

Work collaboratively with a full MDT to ensure coordinated and holistic care planning.

Develop and deliver innovative, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Requirements

HCPC registration (essential).

Minimum of two years’ experience working in mental health.

Full driving licence (desirable), enabling travel between sites when required.
