What you will do:
- Prepare and dispense medications in compliance with legal and organisational requirements.
- Ensure accuracy in the preparation of sterile products, including intravenous medicines and chemotherapy.
- Adhere to all aseptic techniques, ensuring contamination control and adherence to safety standards.
- Utilise laminar airflow cabinets and isolators for precise and sterile compounding.
- Maintain detailed batch documentation and traceability records with a high level of accuracy.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise pharmacy services and patient outcomes.
- Train and mentor junior staff members and students as required.
Qualifications and Training:
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with an Accuracy Checking Qualification.
- Current evidence of aseptic preparation training.
- Proven experience in a cleanroom, aseptic unit, or GMP-controlled environment.
- Practical experience in the preparation of sterile products like intravenous medicines.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and contamination control practices.
- HCPC registration is a must, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Being a car driver is preferable to facilitate easy commute and flexibility.
