An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Pharmacy Technician within AHP – Pharmacy Technician in Tayside, based at HMP Perth Health Centre. This full-time locum position offers £22.87 per hour across a 3-month contract, with working hours Monday to Friday (8:00–16:00 or 9:00–17:00, 30-minute break). What you will do

Pharmaceutical Care: Deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred pharmacy services within the prison healthcare setting.
Medicines Reconciliation: Ensure accurate medication histories and records for all patients.
Dispensing & Supply: Issue medications in accordance with protocols and safety standards.
Multi-Agency Collaboration: Liaise with community pharmacies, GP practices, and other healthcare providers.
Service Improvement: Contribute to initiatives that enhance pharmaceutical services and patient outcomes.

Qualifications / Requirements

Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Post-qualification experience in pharmacy practice.
Experience in community pharmacy or working with complex patient groups is desirable.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.
