This full-time locum position offers £22.87 per hour across a 3-month contract, with working hours Monday to Friday (8:00–16:00 or 9:00–17:00, 30-minute break). What you will do
- Pharmaceutical Care: Deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred pharmacy services within the prison healthcare setting.
- Medicines Reconciliation: Ensure accurate medication histories and records for all patients.
- Dispensing & Supply: Issue medications in accordance with protocols and safety standards.
- Multi-Agency Collaboration: Liaise with community pharmacies, GP practices, and other healthcare providers.
- Service Improvement: Contribute to initiatives that enhance pharmaceutical services and patient outcomes.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Post-qualification experience in pharmacy practice.
- Experience in community pharmacy or working with complex patient groups is desirable.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.
