The Role

As an Art Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Encourage creativity, imagination, and artistic development
• Plan, assess, and monitor student progress effectively
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and wider school initiatives
• Work collaboratively within a supportive department

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Degree in Art, Fine Art, Art & Design, or a related subject
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for inspiring young people through creative education
• Commitment to raising achievement and supporting student development
• Applicants must live within Lewisham or Greenwich, or be able to commute to the borough within approximately one hour

• Right to Work documentation (Passport or Share Code)
• Second form of ID (Driving Licence, Birth Certificate, or Proof of Age document)
• Proof of Address dated within the last 3 months (Bank Statement or Utility Bill)

• Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one through KPI Education)
• National Insurance Number
• Most recent qualification certificate
• Up-to-date CV
• Trust ID
