Locum Social Worker within Safeguarding in Medway UK, earning up to £38 per hour Hourly. Ongoing contract. Full-time and part-time opportunities available. We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join our Safeguarding team in Medway. This role is ideal for someone with a strong commitment to safeguarding vulnerable adults. What you will do:
- Screen safeguarding concerns and gather initial information
- Undertake Section 42 Enquiries and comprehensive risk assessments
- Develop and implement safety plans to protect vulnerable adults
- Conduct mental capacity assessments with empathic understanding
- Apply Making Safeguarding Personal principles and collaborate with key partner agencies
- Utilise Co-Production, Strengths Based Practice, and Person-Centred Practice in your daily work

In this role, your qualifications matter. Candidates must hold a degree or equivalent in social work with a current registration with Social Work England. Significant frontline experience within the UK as a qualified Social Worker is necessary. Your keen insight and experience in adult safeguarding work will be essential as you navigate this crucial role.
