Location: HMP Ranby, Retford
Pay Rates (Umbrella/LTD):

• Weekdays: £26.00/hour

• Saturdays: £29.00/hour

• Sundays & Bank Holidays: £32.00/hour
  Contract Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday

Role Summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking an experienced and Prison Cleared Pharmacy Technician to join the Pharmacy team at HMP Ranby in Retford. Key Responsibilities

• Dispense, prepare, and distribute medications in line with prescribed protocols

• Work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist to provide safe, efficient pharmaceutical care

• Manage and maintain medication stock levels, including controlled drugs, ensuring accurate records are kept

• Support the delivery of substance misuse treatments, liaising with the clinical team as needed

• Ensure compliance with relevant prison security protocols and clinical governance

• Engage in medicines reconciliation and support healthcare staff with medication-related queries

Requirements

• GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician

• Current prison clearance (essential)

• Previous experience working in a prison or secure healthcare setting (preferred)

• Excellent organisational, communication, and teamwork skills

• Comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary team environment
