English Teacher (ECT) – Secondary School – Wolverhampton

Salary: £31,650 – £43,607 (MPS, dependent on experience)

We’re partnering with a forward-thinking secondary school in Wolverhampton that is looking to welcome a passionate and motivated English Teacher (ECT) to their team this September 2025. The Role:

• Permanent, full-time position starting in September 2025

• Teach KS3 and KS4 English with potential for KS5 as you grow into the role

• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons aligned with the national curriculum

• Support pupils of all abilities to develop confidence and a love for English

• Work collaboratively with an experienced English department and wider staff team

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Applications welcomed from ECTs completing training in 2025

• A degree in English or a closely related subject (minimum 2:1 preferred)

• Sound knowledge of the secondary English curriculum

• A reflective practitioner who is open to learning and feedback

• Strong classroom presence, resilience, and excellent communication skills
